A clip-in extension is now so famous nowadays. Because there was a time when you had to wait months to grow out a short style or suffer from thinning hair as you got older, someone found a way to take the pain out of that waiting and suffering. Clip-in hair extensions are a justly inexpensive way to get the look you want and they're commitment-free. So, how do you use these products?

First, you want to be sure to pick a set of extensions closest in color and texture to your hair. There are many varieties; many hair extensions are now made with human hair that can be colored, curled, and straightened.

Starting with clear, tangle-free hair and tangle-free hair extensions, practice opening and closing the tips by applying pressure to each side of the clip with your thumbs and then lay them out in the open position. Next, make a horizontal part across your scalp about 1 inch from the nape of your neck. Secure your hair that is above the part using a clip. Always add the middle clip first. Start the comb on the clip onto your natural hair and snap shut. Check if the attachment is securely in place. Repeat with the clips on the left & right side of the weft. The weft should lie flat and feel secure.

Release the clipped hair above the part and use a comb to make another horizontal part 1 inch above the earlier applied extension. Once again, clip your real hair that is above the part out of the way. Attach another weft in the same manner as the first. Remember to always attach the middle clip first. Proceed to make horizontal parts and attaching the extensions as you move up the back of the head. Add the smaller side pieces by making a horizontal part above the ear and attaching the clip in wefts in the same manner.

Try changing the placement of the wefts or where you're parting your hair to get the best look for you. If you have thin hair, consider using fewer pieces and if your hair is extra thick, you may way to buy additional wefts. You can also take your extensions to a professional hairstylist to have them help you to apply them and cut them to make your natural hair's layers. Adding layers to Indique clip-in extensions will help make them look more natural and blend with your hair seamlessly.

You're done and you can style any way you'd like! Enjoy your new look! They come in curly, wavy and straight styles in black, nine shades of brown and blonde, light and dark purple, pink and blue.
